Gateshead Beer & Music Festival returns for its 12th year!

Our festival returns to Gateshead Rugby Club for the 12th year in its regular springtime slot, following the postponements/rescheduling of the 2020/ 2021 events due to the coronavirus pandemic. We're delighted to be supported by our headline sponsors, Baltic Mortgage Solutions, Lookers Ford and Dean Taxis.

We have 3 days of great music, regional and national beers and freshly prepared food to look forward to - and whatever the weather, we’ve got you covered with both our clubhouse and our large marquee open, plus our large field means there is plenty of space when the sun is shining! As usual we'll also be raising money for three great charities, so bring along your spare change!

We have plenty of drink so offer including our  Ales, gin, premium lager, prosecco, cider bar and this year we are adding a selection of cocktails, provided by local business” Mad Martinis”, including espresso martinis and strawberry daquiris.

When the Beer and dancing makes you hungry, we’ve a great selection of food prepared fresh every day on site for all tastes. There’s our brand new wood fired pizza oven with handmade pizzas, the regular favourites of meat and vegetarian paella, premium quality doner kebabs, hotdogs and chips. We’ve a selection of vegetarian and gluten free wraps and pizza too. If you’ve a sweet tooth, our made to order crepes will be prepared right in front of you. So there is no need to bring your own food, we’ve well and truly got you covered

Day & weekend tickets are still available, and we have fantastic beers, ciders, cocktails, gins, fizz and music waiting for you on both those days, so why not join us?

On Friday, we play host to the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) North East regional competition, which features over 120 of the best ales of all types from local North East and Yorkshire brewers. The competition was held at the festival for the first time in 2019 and is returning once again as the guest judges look to be wowed by the range of ales on offer! The winners from the regional competition go on to compete for the big prizes at the national competition, BeerX.

We also see the return of some of our most requested musicians complimented by many bands making their Gateshead Beer festival debuts. Here are the headliners with more information available on our website via www.gatesheadbeerfestival.co.uk/music/music-line-up-2022/
