BRYDE

DELIVERS HER BRUTALLY CATHARTIC DEBUT LP 'LIKE AN ISLAND' ON 13TH APRIL

PRECEDED BY LEAD SINGLE 'TO BE BRAVE'

ANNOUNCES 29 DATE TOUR FOR APRIL AND MAY

"Feral Guitar, Torn-from-the-chest lyrics...sensational" – The Sunday Times

'...searing' - DIY       “A voice that deserves attention” – Consequence of Sound

“swirling wave of tidal resonance that confidently sits between Scout Niblett and Sharon Van Etten” – The Line of Best Fit

After setting up her label Seahorse Music to publish records by like-minded women and help make them more visible in a male-dominated industry, BRYDE finished up her debut LP Like An Island flitting between London and LA.

Exploring themes of independence, liberation, and relationships, her inimitable brand of candid indie rock is realised with mixing help from Catherine Marks (Wolf Alice, PJ Harvey and St Vincent), and mastering by Mandy Parnell.

Lyrically, London based Bryde finds intense internal poetry in everyday adversity. While concentrating thematically on life and human interaction, her songwriting persona wears her bruised yet resolute heart on her sleeve.

For the Wales-born songwriter, it’s not just the technical precision of her lyrics that resonate with a widening fanbase, it’s also her vocal delivery. On her latest song To Be Brave Bryde’s voice carries us beyond the imprecision of words into feelings we all know but can’t delineate.

As she says: “To Be Brave was written as kind of a soft squeeze of the hand to many friends who have, like me, been through many a dark period and put on a brave face and just got on with it. It’s a comment about how we all live out certain episodes of our lives in such a public setting these days that I feel we almost edit them to appear flawless, nothing but smiles.”.

To Be Brave is a shock to the system of preconceived notions about the style of artist Bryde is. She’s rock and roll for sure, but protean and poetic, a rocker in the vein of Patti Smith.

So far industry support for Bryde has come from Nylon, DIY, TLOBF, the Sunday Times (“feral guitar, torn-from-the-chest lyrics… sensational”) and Consequence of Sound, who’ve called her “a voice that deserves attention”. She was one of the stand out acts at last year's Live At Leeds where her audience "…looked on in awe" (The Independent) and had people queuing round the block for an stunning early performance on day 3 at The Great Escape festival. In support of the release Bryde will set off on her biggest UK, IRE and EU 29 date tour so far in April and May.

'Like An Island' comes out on Bryde's own label Seahorse Music on the 13 of April and will be available to preorder. Support in the form of Women Make Music fund from PRS has been awarded to assist its release.

'To Be Brave' is available to purchase on all DSPs.

NICK J.D. HODGSON

ANNOUNCES UK & IRELAND TOUR

Listen to the album here - Spotify / iTunes / Buy

‘A slew of fast and furious hit singles in the making’ – Sunday Express

‘Subtle, sophisticated songwriting’ – Evening Standard

‘A self-performed album of lushly simple songs that are hummable and uplifting’ – Mail on Sunday

“Oh My God I can’t believe it, I’m going on tour” - NICK

This was never the plan when Nick left Kaiser Chiefs in 2012. The plan was to stay at home writing and producing for other people. After five years of  writing songs with everyone from Shirley Bassey to Rat Boy via Mark Ronson and John Newman, the plan changed.

His solo album Tell Your Friends came out on 26th Jan 2018 to great acclaim: album of the week in the Sunday Express, 4* in the Evening Standard and Dork Magazine (‘Hodgson’s innate genius shines brighter than ever before’), whilst The Sunday Times revelled in ‘this lovely album’s artless, low-fi approach’ and Q Magazine noted that Hodgson’s ‘ear for a winning melody remains acute’.

The April tour will be his first since the arena and festival headline slots with Kaiser Chiefs when Nick played drums and was the principal songwriter. He will be joined by his fabulous new band, including members of Howling Bells and The Dead 60s. Expect to hear the new album alongside a few indie anthems courtesy of his back catalogue.

APRIL TOUR DATES

15th - Birmingham, The Actress and Bishop

17th - London, 100 Club

18th - Manchester, The Deaf Institute

KUBIX FESTIVAL TO ROCK SUNDERLAND THIS SUMMER

SOME of the biggest music stars from three iconic decades of pop are heading to Sunderland as the city hosts a brand new music event this summer (August 2018).

The Kubix Festival will bring a weekend of nostalgia to Herrington Country Park over the weekend of Friday and Saturday August 10 and 11.

The two day event will feature some of the hottest names from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Boyzone frontman Ronan Keaton will headline Friday’s 1990s-inspired show, as he performs a selection of the band’s most famous hits, along with some of his solo chart-toppers.

He will be supported on the night by fellow Irish favourites B*witched, Peter Andre, boyband East 17 and Right Said Fred.

Saturday will bring a totally different sound to Herrington Country Park as dandy highwayman Adam Ant leads a star-studded line up.

The man responsible for hits like Prince Charming and Stand & deliver will headline a night of music from some of the biggest names from the alternative and indie scenes.

He will be joined by The Boomtown Rats featuring Bob Geldof, the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Peter Hook & The Light, Buzzcocks, The Undertones and The Blockheads.

“This is a totally new event for Sunderland, and we believe we’ve lined up two nights of fantastic music from some of the biggest stars spanning three decades,” said festival organiser Alex Hutchinson.

“Friday night will be all about 1990s pop, and our fun and exciting line up is guaranteed to get everyone on their feet and singing along to some real classics.

“Saturday, meanwhile, will focus more on the more edgy indie scene, and we’re thrilled to have secured an incredible line up of stars for what will be an unforgettable night.”

Both shows will be family friendly, with reduced tickets available for accompanied under-15s.

Shuttle bus services will run from Sunderland, Newcastle, Durham, Gateshead, Hartlepool and Middlesbrough on both days, and there will be free parking on-site.

NEW ALBUM 'SHADOW PEOPLE' OUT NOW ON BECAUSE MUSIC: BUY/STREAM IT HERE

“Sounds as if they have stepped out of Quentin Tarantino’s dreams…. a 60s-saturated stunner” Uncut

“Garagey, soundtrack-infused psych, a swirl of pounding drums, spoken French, baroque melodies” Mojo

"The Limiñanas attack their home nation's ye'-ye' tradition with lashings of psych-rock fuzz" Q

"The Limiñanas stick to what they know — The Velvet Underground, Serge Gainsbourg, JAMC fuzz, ’60s soundtracks — but it always sounds effortless and cool” Brooklyn Vegan

"Another thrilling mix of '60s garage roc, psych pop and Gallic cool" The Daily Express

"Swoony, swirly and slick" NME

“Their ascendancy up psych's mountainous hierarchy looks set for take off” Gigwise

"Sheer genius" God is in the TVzine

French psych duo THE LIMIÑANAS have announced their return to the UK with a tour in May, including a headline show at The Garage in London on 05 May.

Full dates:

Tue 01 May - Soup Kitchen - Manchester
Wed 02 May - The Cluny 2 - Newcastle - TICKETS
Thurs 03 May - Broadcast - Glasgow
Fri 04 May - Brudenel - Leeds
Sat 05 May - The Garage - London
Sun 06 May - The Hope - Brighton

The Limiñanas have also shared the video for 'Dimanche', taken from their recently released new album. The video features French chanteur Bertrand Belin, who also provides vocals on the song, and actress Emmanuelle Seigner, who sings on the album's title track 'Shadow People'. Also present is Foulke de Boixo, the dancing hero from the album's previous videos.

One of France’s most beloved treasures, The Limiñanas are Marie (drums/vocals) and Lionel (guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals). Hailing from Perpignan, the duo straddles the boundary between psych, shoegaze, and yé-yé. With hazy, reverb-laden hooks, combined at times with noisy distortion, and fronted by effortlessly cool vocals, reminiscent of Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot, the band is at once timeless and quintessentially French.

“What was old is new again”… The old adage is so tired that nobody takes its proper measure: all people hear is the word “old”, when the important one is “new”. Making new things out of old things is an act of alchemy. It’s very complicated. You take rusted lead and transform it into sparkling gold… The Velvet Underground, The Stooges, The Standells, Chocolate Watchband, Billy Childish and other garage heroes; Ennio Morricone, John Barry and 1960’s Italian songs; Can, Neu! and all the Teutonic knights of motoric groove; The Cramps, of course, Nick Cave, Gainsbourg and tonic psych rock: Lionel and Marie from the Limiñanas know them all by heart, they worship them. They drink from that well and, after a good kneading and pounding, they make something else out of it. “We don’t do revivalism”, states Lionel from behind his beard. “In fact, some purists are accusing us of selling out, which is a good sign”.

New album 'Shadow People' was recorded and produced at The Brian Jonestown Massacre's Anton Newcombe's studio in Berlin.

The Wave Pictures

Announce new album Brushes With Happiness
Due out on Moshi Moshi on 22 June 2018

Listen to new track "Jim" here (feel free to share!)

June Tour Dates Announced

“The blues is very important to us. One of the questions we ask ourselves is: how do you play the blues without actually playing a blues? The blues is all about mystery, mystery as a fact of everyday life. What people call mundane is really magical, they are just blind to it.” – Dave Tattersall

One of the UK’s most prolific and beloved bands, The Wave Pictures, return with the brand new single, simply entitled “Jim” (premiered by Brooklyn Vegan here) which heralds the first of two albums that they will be releasing in 2018, Brushes With Happiness out on 22 June (which will be followed by Look Inside Your Heart in October).

Sparse and visceral, “Jim” was recorded, along with the rest of the songs on Brushes with Happiness, live in a small room to tape on one night in January playing into the wee hours. High and inebriated, the trio of Jonny Helm (drums), Dave Tattersall (guitar & vocals) and Franic Rozycki (bass) wanted to make the process as spontaneous as possible, emulating the jazz, blues and live albums that they love so much.

Brushes with Happiness sees The Wave Pictures in contemplative and expansive mood. They undertook several steps in order to ensure that this was a magical album:

- Tattersall didn’t write any music prior to the recording sessions, just lyrics.
- Everything on record is a first take and mostly material that Jonny and Franic had never heard before and Dave had never played. None of it existed in any shape or form before they put it to tape.
- They recorded it drunk and high, late at night so as to be as relaxed as possible.
- The songs are predominantly in minor key. Dave explains; “I cannot help how I feel - for me this is the happiest kind of key to play in.”

Dave Tattersall explains further; “Listening to the album feels like being in a ceremony. It takes you to that place. This is music that emanates from one group of people in one place in space and time. Listening to it is like being let in on a secret.”

For songs recorded in this way, Brushes with Happiness really does surpass all expectations. From the languid guitar licks to Dave’s faltering vocals, every note oozes emotional truth. Brushes With Happiness sees a band at the top of their game. No other band could just improvise an album out of thin air, no trouble at all, and have it sound THIS good.

You can catch them on tour in June (see dates below).

#review @numanofficial at @Mbro_empire 17/03/2018 #garynuman #SongsFromABrokenWorldTour

Review: Gary Numan at Middlesbrough Empire

A big crowd braved the chill of the Minibeast From The East, (some had to stay in hotels in the area after the gig, it got so bad out there). But it was warm as toast in the packed (what is the fire limit?) Middlesbrough Empire where Numan fans from far and wide had gathered to witness the latest outing of a man whose musical career has spanned four decades. Trio, Nightmare Air from the US opened the night with their guitar/electro sound that had some similarities to the Sugar Cubes and a bit of Teenage Fanclub. The songs were catchy and at times had a darkness befitting the evening.

Gary came on with much dry ice and light beams singing Ghost Nation from the new album  Savage: Songs From a Broken World. The night featured a good few of the songs from this excellent new album. My personal favourite is My Name Is Ruin, which has Numan’s daughter’s vocals giving it an ethereal feel over the industrial rhythm.

Indeed it is noticeable that although Gary Numan sowed one of the seeds for electronic music, he has reaped some of the fruit in the form of inspiration from such sources as Nine Inch Nails (with whom he has collaborated) and Rammstein. I’m of the opinion that his last album Splinter, and this one, are a form of rebirth for Numan and a welcome one. Songs such as Halo, Pray for the Pain You Serve and Haunted were interspersed with classics like Me! I Disconnect From You which worked really well. The new material is dramatic, dark and big enough to engage an audience who are not yet familiar with it.

Onstage, Numan looked happy and totally at home, belying his age by at least a decade. It was a great performance. Gary Numan has a brilliant band around him as well which certainly is a major factor in the impressive live sound. Of course a large section of the crowd were waiting for Cars. But there was a good response for Are Friends Electric with enthusiastic singing along. For the encore, A Prayer For The Unborn and My last Day made for an appropriately apocalyptic ending. Gary Numan continues to be a living legend in my eyes.

BARRENCE WHITFIELD

AND THE SAVAGES

ANNOUNCE UK TOUR DATES FOR MAY
(from our affiliate See Tickets  at no extra cost)

From a far out moon beyond the rings of Saturn to a dingy studio in Cincinnati, BARRENCE WHITFIELD AND THE SAVAGES' new platter embraces a cosmic and groovy unification. It’s a wild, electric phantasmagoria of blues, rock, garage, and soul; it blasts off into diverse orbits only to come back together into a singular Savage cosmology. Soul Flowers of Titan is about people shooting guns, separating, coming home (someday), falling in love, running around, leaving this earth, going crazy, drinking coffee, and thinking about Sun Ra.

Titan is the largest moon of Saturn, a planet which astrologically symbolizes pain and struggle. Cincinnati, where the album was recorded (at Ultra Suede Studio), is home to many classic and unknown independent labels, like King and Federal, that fostered a frayed and raucous sound in the 1950s and ‘60s. With such history at their fingertips, the Savages could not resist the urge to celebrate and elaborate on this legacy, to go places high and low, faraway and downhome.

Longtime followers of the Savage Sound will notice right away a heavier sound, a blast of B3 and Rheem organs (courtesy of newest Savage Brian Olive) and a live-in-the-room urgency. It’s a multi-faceted vehicle for a top-notch band wigging out with beefy, staccato blues scales, punk and garage riffs, fronted by a first-order shouter well-heeled in the aesthetics of soul, R&B, and rockabilly.

Barrence’s deep, gravelly rumble anchors muscular struts into madness, out the door and off to Mars. “Slowly Losing My Mind” and “I’m Gonna Leave You Baby” are by Federal alum Willie Wright and his Sparklers, while “Let’s Go To Mars” is an original by Savages guitarist Peter Greenberg and bassist Phil Lenker, written after multiple viewings of an early ‘70s documentary on Sun Ra. Also from the Federal canon is the Midnighters’ “I’ll Be Coming Home Someday,” done here with a somewhat menacing dark street corner doo-wop vibe. “I Can’t Get No Ride,” originally by Finley Brown on the M.O.C. label, will inspire you to Frug off towards a fantastical horizon. And try NOT to flip when the original raunchy rockabilly shuffle “Tall, Black and Bitter” hits the speakers. It’s an album that will take you everywhere and, in doing so, will bring you right back to the center.

Soul Flowers of Titan is Barrence Whitfield and the Savages’ third LP for Bloodshot Records and fourth since reforming in 2010 after a 25-year hiatus. BW&S shot out of Boston in the mid-’80s with the force of a rocket ship. Through their sweaty dance party shows and love of primal soul, they were to R&B what the Cramps were to rockabilly—a gateway musical drug for nascent underground roots mavens. Along with original Savage Peter Greenberg (The Lyres, DMZ) and Phil Lenker, they released several records on Rounder Records, became a favorite of BBC DJ Andy Kershaw, and won seven Boston Music Awards. After they reunited in the 21st century, adding Andy Jody on drums and Tom Quartulli on sax, they released Savage Kings on Shake It Records and Dig Thy Savage Soul and Under the Savage Sky on Bloodshot.

THE first of three star-studded, paid-for concerts taking place over the Pride weekend has been announced, providing a huge boost to the LGBT festival.

THE VENGABUS IS COMING

THE first of three star-studded, paid-for concerts taking place over the Pride weekend has been announced, providing a huge boost to the LGBT festival.

Event organisers, Geordiemoor, have bought the use of the big top tent after Newcastle Pride has wrapped up each evening, to provide music fans with a series of gigs featuring fantastic, big name acts.

And Dutch Eurodance group, The Vengaboys - famous for their hit singles, We Like to Party, Boom Boom Boom Boom and We’re Going to Ibiza - are the first act lined up for the Friday evening concert.

They will be joined by a yet-to-be-named superstar group and the event will act as the launch party for the free Newcastle Pride festival, which takes place between the 20 – 22 July.

The three events will not disrupt the Newcastle Pride programme - which is running independent of the concerts organised by Geordiemoor - and a percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to LGBT charity, Northern Pride, to help sustain free entry to Newcastle Pride for future years.

Festival director, Stephen Willis said: “I am delighted that Geordiemoor have bought the use of the space in the evenings to provide these amazing concerts.

“Because Newcastle Pride wraps up at the Nuns Moor Park site at 6pm, it meant that the tent was going to be standing vacant in the evenings which seemed like such a waste.

“The concerts won’t impact any of Newcastle Pride’s events and money raised from ticket sales will help fund future Pride events so that we can keep the festival free.”

Early bird tickets for the Friday night launch party are £33.32 and can be purchased online at www.geordiemoor.co.uk.

Details for the other two concerts, taking place on Thursday 19 and Saturday 21, will be announced at a later date.

For more information about the concerts, go to Geordiemoor’s website or search Geordiemoor on Facebook.

FANS INVITED TO SEE STING AND A GALAXY OF STARS ON TYNESIDE

FANS INVITED TO SEE STING
AND A GALAXY OF STARS ON TYNESIDE…

CELEBRITY spotters will get a chance to see some of TV and music’s biggest names at a glittering, red carpet event next week (20 March).

A host of famous faces are set to attend a special, gala performance of Sting’s play The Last Ship at Newcastle’s Northern Stage on Tuesday 20 March.

And fans can be there to watch as Sting himself is joined by some of the region’s best loved stars on the red carpet.

Among those attending are Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson and Nick Baines, presenter Jeremy Kyle and golfer Lee Westwood along with homegrown stars such as Denise Welch, Alan Shearer, Joe McElderry and Hairy Biker, Si King – and there may be a couple of surprise appearances.

The celebrity audience is set to arrive at the theatre from 6pm and an area has been set y for fans, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourites.

The gala performance is being held in aid of the Graham Wylie Foundation and all funds raised on the night will support the Newcastle-based charity which was formed to ‘help, inspire and educate children across the region.’

“I am incredibly grateful that some of the greatest talents this region has ever produced are giving up their time to attend the premiere and support the Foundation,” said Graham Wylie.

“It promises to be a spectacular night to rival anything the West End of London can offer in terms of glamour and I hope as many people as possible will come along to welcome them.”

The charity has built the first Nordoff Robbins music therapy centre outside London, at the Matron’s Lodge of the former Fleming Hospital – and Sting and Ricky Wilson will officially declare it open the following morning, Wednesday 21 March.

"Music has been the most important part of my life, ever since I was a young boy growing up on Tyneside,” said Sting.

“I truly believe that access to music, in its many forms, can benefit and support everyone, giving them the chance to discover a life-long love.

“It's great to see a music therapy centre coming to the North East funded by the Graham Wylie Foundation to support the important work of Nordoff Robbins.”

The musical tells the story of a group of North East shipyard workers who, faced with the closure of their yard, decide to build and launch their own great vessel and stars Emmerdale’s Charlie Hardwick, stage and screen actor Joe McGann and former Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman.

A proportion of the money raised on the night will also go to support FACT – Fighting All Cancers Together.

#TRAVIS #THEMANWHO 2018 tour! @CityH4ll on 15/12/18

TRAVIS ‘THE MAN WHO’ LIVE!

Following their triumphant headline show at On Blackheath Festival last September and due to popular demand, Travis, one of Britain’s best loved bands play their classic album ‘The Man Who’ live in full for two limited runs this June & December and will be performing on the City Hall stage Sat 15 Dec 2018.

Released 19 years ago, ‘The Man Who’ sounds as fresh today as it did then.  One of the most successful British albums of the last 20 years, it spawned the timeless singles, ‘Writing To Reach You’, ‘Driftwood’, ‘Turn’ and possibly the band’s most iconic song, ‘Why Does It Always Rain On Me’.

“Songs are like emotional bookmarks in time,” Fran Healy said. “When you hear a song you are transported to those times and feel strong echoes of the feelings you felt. Rarely does an album have this ability so performing ‘The Man Who’ once again will be a joy!”

Produced by Nigel Godrich, ‘The Man Who’ spent an astonishing 11 weeks at Number 1, selling nearly 3 million copies. It was the biggest selling UK album in 2000, propelled by an incendiary Glastonbury performance in the rain! Recognition quickly followed including Ivor Novello Awards for ‘Best Songwriter’ & ‘Best Contemporary Song’ for ‘Why Does It Always Rain On Me?’ and BRIT Awards for ‘Best British Band’ and ‘Best British Album’.

Tickets for Travis on general sale Friday 9 March from 9am and can be purchased online at http://bit.ly/travisTHEMANWHOtixwww.theatreroyal.co.uk or from the Theatre Royal Box Office on 08448 11 21 21 (Calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company’s access charge).

#NEWS Coming to @CityH4LL #newcastle #EARLYDOORSLIVE Pub Sitcom goes on tour

EARLY DOORS LIVE ON TOUR
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!
KICKING OFF THE TOUR AT THE
CITY HALL ON TUE 25 SEP 2018

EARLY DOORS, Britain’s best loved pub sitcom is to tour the country later this year for the very first time. The live incarnation of the BBC TV favourite kicks off in Newcastle on 25 September.  Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 16 March.

The live show was originally planned as a one week run at Salford Lowry’s Quay’s Theatre.  But due to huge public demand for tickets those shows sold out instantly and a further two weeks of shows at the Lowry’s larger Lyric Theatre were added, which also sold out in record time.

Commissioned by leading West End producer Philip McIntyre to adapt their award winning television series for the stage, Craig Cash and Phil Mealey have written a brand new story featuring the same hilarious characters from the TV show.

Craig Cash and Phil Mealey said: “Writing Early Doors again has been a joy and we’re really excited by the results. Putting it on stage for the first time ever will be a huge thrill. One that we hope you will come along and share.”

The Grapes Pub will reopen its doors for the UK tour, in a not-to-be-missed night of fun and laughter. Ken’s got love on his mind, but will barmaid, Tanya, ring the landlord’s bell? Old Tommy would play Cupid - if only he didn’t have IBS (Irritable Bugger’s Syndrome). Crime is on the rise but fear not, as local cops Phil and Nige are getting stuck in... to a couple of pints in the back room. After all, “Crime can’t crack itself.” All of this and much, much more when Early Doors returns.

Starring Craig Cash, Phil Mealey, John Henshaw, Susan Cookson, Joan Kempson, James Quinn, Lisa Millett, Judith Barker, with further casting to be announced.

To the regiment!  Don’t just wish you were there - make sure of it!

Tickets for Early Doors Live Tour are on sale Fri 16 Mar from 10am and can be purchased online at www.theatreroyal.co.uk or from the Theatre Royal Box Office on 08448 11 21 21 (Calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company’s access charge).

Tickets for the 11-date UK Tour – which hits Newcastle 02 Academy 2 on Saturday 24th March – are on sale now via our Ticketmaster affiliate
THE AC/DC EXPERIENCE – Darran Short (vocals); Andy Holt (lead guitar); Steven Wolf (bass); James Stringfellow (guitar) and Dennis Duxbury (drums) – brilliantly nail the power and look of the stadium rock god’s incendiary stage performance, backed by a state-of-the-art lighting and projection show.
Thousands of rock fans have seen the Lancashire-based band perform across the UK and they have won plaudits everywhere they have played.
After seeing them live last year, ex-Whitesnake guitar great Bernie Marsden said: “Seeing THE AC/DC EXPERIENCE brought back memories of one of my greatest tour experiences with the Australian rockers in 1980.
“THE AC/DC EXPERIENCE boys captured the spirit of those great anthems I heard every night. If you love AC/DC music a night out at one of their gigs will leave you smiling!”

THE AC/DC EXPERIENCE authentically cover all eras – so expect explosive versions of the classics Highway to Hell, Back in Black, Thunderstruck, Hells Bells, You Shook Me All Night Long, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, T.N.T, Whole Lotta Rosie and many many more.
James Stringfellow said: “We had such a great time on our first UK Tour last year that there really was only one thing to do – get back on the road again in 2018!
“AC/DC die-hard fans love us, rock fans love us and we love getting up there on stage and bringing the AC/DC sound to the masses.
“Rock fans are very discerning – they will not stand for cheap imitations – and we believe we are the closest you will get to the real thing. We aim to shake audiences ‘all night long’ and we cannot wait for our second UK tour to begin.”
As well as last year’s debut UK tour, the band has played many headline slots at festivals where they have won rave reviews and rapturous responses from the crowds.
James added: “As professional musicians, and most importantly fans of AC/DC, it spurs us on to bring the true spirit of the real thing to as many people as possible. We absolutely bring the full AC/DC package both in terms of the music and the performance, and the response from audiences across the country has been fantastic.”
So, get ready to rock – THE AC/DC EXPERIENCE are coming to Newcastle!
