Gateshead Beer & Music Festival   -based at Gateshead Rugby club in Low fell, is now in it's 6th year and runs from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd May 2015. What initially started off as a small festival has quickly grown into one of the largest of its kind in the north of England and is now a must on the local festival calendar.   Andy Bourn said " We have a varied music programme over the 3 days of the festival! We always ensure the bill is an eclectic mix covering all genres of music to suit all tastes"   After a barnstorming debut last year, we are excited to announce that local boys and national Soul & Funk sensations Smoove & Turrell are back to headline the opening night of this year’s festival. In their short time together the boys have gathered national acclaim for their brand of music .  Festival highlights include Kendal Calling, Glastonbury and 6Music’s homecoming gig for long time S&T supporter Craig Charles in Liverpool.
