Two new gigs at Tyne Theatre: Sam Bailey in
Concert and Boyzlife

Tyne Theatre & Opera House have just announced the addition of two brilliant gigs to
their programme for 2018. Tuesday 9th October will see Boyzlife take to the stage,
while The X Factor winner Sam Bailey will perform on Saturday 3rd November.
Boyzlife brings together members of two of the biggest boybands in history, Boyzone
and Westlife, to perform a whole host of their biggest chart hits.

Brian McFadden enjoyed 12 UK and Ireland number ones as a member of Westlife,
including a record breaking seven top spots in a row. The band also boast four number 1
albums and over 30 million record sales in total. Since Westlife, Brian has enjoyed
international solo success, including a UK number 1 with Real to Me.

With Boyzone, Keith Duffy has enjoyed similar success, including six UK number one
singles and 16 out of 17 of their first single releases making the top 5. With five number
one albums also to their credit, Boyzone achieved worldwide sales of over 25 million.
The unmissable Boyzlife show has already been performed for over 20,000 adoring fans
since the pair came together in 2016. With two completely sold out tours under their
belts in partnership with Hilton Hotels, as well as their unforgettable 2017 December
Christmas Tour, this is a night out that is certainly not to be missed.

2013 X Factor winner and gold selling artist Sam Bailey is once again taking to the stage
to showcase her powerhouse voice in a 2018 UK selected date tour.
Following her X Factor win, Sam’s hit single, Skyscraper, became the UK Christmas No.1.
The following March, Sam’s album was released to high praise and later in 2014, she
embarked on her solo sell-out tour. Since then her career has gone from strength to
strength. So far in 2018, Sam has been busy on stage playing a main role in the UK tour
of the award-winning Broadway show CHICAGO and touring in Kay Mellor’s Fat Friends.
With fans across the world eagerly awaiting new music, Sam’s new material and tour is
highly anticipated and once again set to be a sell-out show.

Theatre Director Joanne Johnson says: “I’m thrilled to add more music to our programme
for 2018 – the Tyne Theatre is a wonderful place to enjoy music with its fantastic acoustics
and intimate auditorium, so these two shows are a must for fans!”
Tickets for Boyzlife are priced at £29. Limited VIP Meet and Greet tickets are
available at £60.50.
Tickets for Sam Bailey are priced at £25.50, £24 concessions
