GLITCH BIG NEWS FOR VIDEO GAMERS AS A NEW FESTIVAL IS ANNOUNCED FOR THE NORTH EAST METRO RADIO ARENA NEWCASTLE SATURDAY 30TH JUNE – SUNDAY 1ST JULY 2018 YouTube superstars, celebrity gamers, renowned games and more are coming to Newcastle this summer at an exciting new 2 day festival called Glitch, on 30th June and 1st July. Glitch is set to takes place at Metro Radio Arena and will showcase the latest games alongside an extensive range of event content, including stage shows, pro eSports tournaments, 80 plus retro games arcade, music and innovative activities. Stage shows will offer death matches and interviews with legend, John Romero, considered a father of the first-person shooter genre with Doom, and YouTube sensations Yogscast Hat Films and Vidiots. Games design personalities John and Brenda Romero each have more than three decades of experience in the games industry, during which they’ve received multiple awards and accolades for their work. ...
