In 2017 FEED THE KID and label owners B33 Records will head off for an exciting Manchester invasion of China along with the rest of the label roster. The excursion consisting of two three month tour stints, will cover 10 major cities and will represent the first new wave of British band’s granted access to perform in the country.  Earlier this year, Mancunian blues-revivalists Feed The Kid aimed high with a single release via taste-making imprint B33 Records. The North East film-making duo who brought you the low-brow Geordie comedy T he Stagg Do   are astounded by the recent success of their Kickstarter crowd sourcing campaign which smashed its 30-day target of £4,000 in less than 48 hours.    They now plan to build on the momentum of their success and are going for a “stretch” goal of £7000 which will help them pay for  more UK screenings as well as show the film in the US.    Their initial Kickstarter campaign was designed to pay the costs of BBFC accreditation which is a requirement for films to be screened theatrically in the UK or released on DVD.    “The whole thing has thrown me for a loop,” said American-born James DeMarco, co-writer and director of the film.  “I thought it would go down to the wire. A Year Into The Business of PR Jowheretogo was founded back in April 2013. Since then a number of clients have used Jowheretogo, not exclusively musicians. The Jowheretogo Show on NE1fm had to end after a year as the business needed more of my attention. This was a shame as I think I did a canny job as a presenter, this may not be the end of my radio career.   COMEDY FEATURE FILM WORLD PREMIERE IN NEWCASTLE THIS JUNE     You’ve all heard of “The Summer Of Love” - now brace yourselves for “The Summer Of Stagg!”   A raucous new Geordie comedy feature film, The Stagg Do , ( www.thestaggdo.com ) will receive its World Premiere at Newcastle’s o2 Academy, Westgate Road on 26 June, 2014. This will be one of several screenings planned in venues throughout the UK.   The Stagg Do was shot entirely on location in the North East of England and features well-known North East actors Bill Fellows (United and Wolf Blood) and Craig Conway (The Descent and Doomsday).
