CORBRIDGE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES HUGE HEADLINERS FOR 2017! CAST, CRAIG CHARLES, FROM THE JAM, THE SELECTER,  LUCY SPRAGGAN,  KESTON COBBLERS,  EXTRA CURRICULAR,  and THE HAPPY CATS  ......are just some of the bands coming to Tynedale Park, Corbridge on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th July thus summer. Corbridge Festival, the increasingly popular family-friendly music festival, returns for its’ seventh year with a spectacular musical line-up that somehow manages to top all previous years! As usual, the musical delights cover most genres, ranging from brit pop to punk rock/mod, funk/soul to 2 tone/ska, and from folk to a smattering of offerings that just can’t be pidgeon-holed. The Coral, Grandmaster Flash  and many more heading to  Corbridge Festival this Summer! Corbridge Festival , the increasingly popular family-friendly music festival, returns for its sixth year with a spectacular musical line-up. Born in 2011 out of a desire to bring great music and family entertainment to West Northumberland.   Headlining the festival on Saturday 9th July this year is Liverpool rock band The Coral . The five-piece band, who had 8 top 30 singles and six top 20 albums, were the figureheads of the Merseyside revival in the mid-2000s and have recently released Distance Inbetween , their first album of new material in six years.   On 23 Nov 2015 the band announced their 2016 return after a five year break and will mark their return by headlining The Corbridge Festival! They first found success with their debut album The Coral which was nominated for the 2002 Mercury Music Prize and later voted the fourth best album of the year by NME M...

The Stagg Do 5 years in the making, written by an American (James DeMarco) , about Geordies, starring Geordies, with Geordie music and with a premiere screened on Westgate Road at the O2 Academy, this was truly a local affair. The story, about a camping trip involving a groom, his best man and his mates takes a turn for the uncomfortable when the father-in-law to be joins the group. Staggy, played by Andrew Stagg is being chaperoned by his fiancee's (Charlotte, played by Therase Neve) father, "The Judge". Daddy-in-law to be, is played by Bill Fellows, a familiar face on many TV series and films. This scuppers the plans of best-man Pob, and pals Si (Simon Buglass) and Radgy (Craig Conway), who really wanted the trip to evolve into a "beer and titties" extravaganza.
