A DIY gig with an anything goes vibe .  Problem Child presents 4 different bands coming together to showcase some of the best music the Newcastle’s Alternative scene has to offer. There is something for everyone ranging from songs about rum and good times to tackling the darker side of life and mocking society. The Globe on the 7th of April is the place to go to if you want to experience what is becoming one of the best Alternative music scene’s in the UK, And its free entry. A Year Into The Business of PR Jowheretogo was founded back in April 2013. Since then a number of clients have used Jowheretogo, not exclusively musicians. The Jowheretogo Show on NE1fm had to end after a year as the business needed more of my attention. This was a shame as I think I did a canny job as a presenter, this may not be the end of my radio career. I became a partner in Music Panther, a new music label ecompassing Sync Panther ( music sync for films, tv, games, corporate video) and Panther PR to handle the publicity for the bands and artists we work with. We Wanted More! Usurper took to the stage at the Head of Steam and quickly overcame what seemed to be a little apprehension to demonstrate their unique brand of rapidly changing agit rock. It took a while for me to get attuned to it but I really rather enjoyed the last two songs especially Stand up Motherfucker . I have tried to research these guys but they seem not to be set up on the social networks yet. The Carnabells were a huge contrast to their dark indie rock support. This was real retro rock and roll of the kind you can’t help but enjoy. Great songs, sing-along choruses, lovely shirts and a bright stage presence added up to a highly enjoyable performance. I find myself wanting their CD for my car, good driving tunes. Emergency Door Release appeared still buzzing from a successful support slot for The Twang at the O2 last week.
