#woodhornfestival at @Ashington_FC this weekend! #food #beer #FREE #music event!

The Woodhorn lane festival 2015 runs from Friday 24th july, doors at 6pm, till Sunday 26th july 11pm closing. on Friday there will be 2 indoor stages of music. On both Saturday and Sunday there will be 3 stages of music running from approx 1pm till late.

The event is as always free, a bucket collection will be made for ‘Specialized’ a Music charity that supports the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The line up is as eclectic as ever, with styles from  indie, punk, jazz, performance art, rock, blues, metal and some with no name. Bands from all over the country will join us. Original bands as ever will feature heavily, but everyone is catered for with a number of covers bands, Saturday night will be concluded with a two tone covers set by the Skapones, but joined by one of the ‘Specials’ the one and only Roddy Radiation. Sunday has a blues rock feel, with some exceptions, and headlined by the always rocking Big Ray and the Hipthrusters.
